The University of Toronto Wind Ensemble and music director Pratik Gandhi, in partnership with the UofT New Music Festival, present a concert of spectacular new music for wind band. The program includes the world premiere of a double percussion concerto by composer-in-residence Fish Yu, along with Intrinsic Light by UofT alumna Cait Nishimura and UofT faculty member Gary Kulesha’s The Greatness of the New-found Night. The concert will also include a special presentation of Kenley Kristofferson’s Arcadia for wind ensemble and video game console.
