The Cathedral Bluffs Symphony Orchestra welcomes music director candidate Pratik Gandhi to conduct the fifth concert of their 2019-20 season. The program includes Beethoven’s overture to Goethe’s Egmont; Schumann’s heavily revised 1851 version of the Symphony No. 4 in D minor; and the Serenade for Strings, by Swedish composer Dag Wirén. The concert will also feature Odawa First Nations composer Barbara Croall, who will perform her Nimkii N’gawmin (“Thunderbird Song”), accompanied by the orchestra.
